Coach Taylor is offered a job at Texas Methodist University. Julie however, does not want to move again. Coach Taylor tries to tell Julie that Austin is a great town that’s very artsy like her. They also have great ballet!

Jason continues to tryout for the All-American Quad Rugby team. Jason, the “Golden Boy”, does very well during the scrimmage; however, he is not chosen to travel to Beijing. Herc has to bring Jason back to reality and let he him he’s good, but he’s not on the team because he’s not comfortable in a chair. Jason continues to talk with the blonde tattoo artist. She also gives him a ride back to Dillon. She had to drop off a refrigerator at her sisters house in a near by town. On there way back to Dillon they talk about Jason’s legal problems and the small town atmosphere of Dillon. The two stop at Stone Hinge 2, where they make-out!

Lyla comes over to see Jason but his attitude makes her believe something is suspicious. Lyla also questions their engagement and future. Jason is not sure about anything.

Tami Taylor pushes Tyra to try harder and turn herself around. Tami wants Trya to go to a junior college and transfer to a 4-year university. Tami then tries to talk with Tyra’s mom about her daughter’s future and “tag team” together to help her out; however, Tyra’s mom is basically a lost cause and does not see the same vision or world for Tyra as Tami sees.

Waverly tells Smash that she has a bipolar disorder, which explains her recent mood swings.

Buddy has been staying in a motel. He creates a photo album in order to make things right with his wife whom he cheated on. Lyla tells her Dad she’s not so sure with his photo idea. Buddy still attempts to confront his wife with the album; however it back-fires. Lyla becomes even more upset and that night takes a car from Buddy’s car lot and smashes it into other cars and then the building itself.

Tim gets more close to his new neighbor. In fact she asks him to pick up her son Bo from school. When Tim shows up a little late he finds Bo being pushed around by some other kids. Tim jumps and threatens he will beat up the boys if they bother Bo again. Tim then works with Bo on his fighting skills. When Bo’s mom shows up at the house she is at first appalled; however, she realizes that Tim is teacher her son how to defend himself. Tim, Bo, and Mom end up watching the movie Back-To-The-Future that night. Tim ends up being the only one awake. He puts Bo to bed and before he leave he tried to kiss Mom. But she back away. The following day Tim returns home and finds his neighbor waiting for him. They proceed into her home and kiss.

Tim, Jason, Matt, and Smash all go to the stadium and drink. They chat about girls and end up sleeping there. Jason also works with Matt and his confidence on the field.

Julie and Coach go to the Father-Daughter dance. Tyra also goes to the dance with her mom.
