Lucas "Man Eater" Smith visits Dillon on Homecoming weekend. Lucas tells people he now resides in Dallas, Texas and works for an insurance agency; however, the real story is not so great. Lucas played college football but blew out his knee his sophomore season. He also met a girl at this time, dropped out, and currently has a son he rarely sees. Desperate he asked Coach Taylor for a job over a hotdog dinner. Lucas approaches Coach Taylor again, but Coach tells him he can not hire him, even though Lucas insists he needs a position.

Coach Taylor visits Jason and asks him to attend the homecoming game. Hesitant, Jason thinks about it. Jason also questions Lyla while in the rehab pool, asking her if she sees Tim very much. A skeptical Jason even tells is roommate Herc he thinks his best friend (Tim) is sleeping with his girlfriend (Lyla). After talking to Lyla one night Jason finally decides to go to the game. Jason leads the team out on homecoming pushed by Tim amidst a cheering crowd.

Tyra teams up with Tim's brother Billy Riggins and organizes a huge party which includes her sister, a stripper, and 10 of her sister's stripper friends! Tyra and Billy get 22 kegs along with tons of other alcohol, and plan to have the party which includes a DJ at a location with uninhabited buildings. The party is out of control. The two make over $4680!

Smash gets caught up in recruiter hoop-la when Lucas introduces Brain to recruiter Grady Hunt. Smash talks with his big mouth and tells Hunt how much he can bench how fast he can run and how many things he will buy his family when he goes pro, which he refers to as "Smash Ball." It sounded great until Smash Ball- sucked balls during the game. He dropped passed, fumbled balls, and received a smashing from the opposing defense. Smash claims he's the family's meal ticket, and his poor performance will cost them. Smash goes to Grady Hunt's hotel room late that night. He tries to make excesses out his performance in the game. Smash is only worried whether he'll be on Hunt's top high school football player list.

With Smash's talent somewhere else, Coach Taylor turns to Riggins. Tim, who quit drinking, started running, and working-out, became more focused over the past week. The moment Tim touched the balled he absolutely dominates. Kicking-ass all over the field, stiff-arming opponents, and scoring touchdowns, Tim leads the Panthers to another win. Tim is awarded the game ball by Coach Taylor, but he in turn gives it to Jason, who the team is playing for.

Matt asks Julie randomly if she'll go on a date with him. Smash injects himself with steroids.
