Friday Night Lights Episodes

The district continues its investigation on Ray Voodoo Tatum's eligibility and whether their game against their rivals, Arrnet Mead, counts. Smash introduces Matt Saracen to some cute girls. Voodoo causes problems with his gang at the Sandwich shop, specifically calling Panther's safety Bobby Reyes a wetback. Matt's nerdy friends Landry and Kurt talk bad about the football team. A heated Reyes overhears Kurt Caster talking bad about the team and then kicks his ass in the parking lot. Bobby Reyes is arrested the next day a practice for assault which put Kurt in the hospital. Tyra is flunking algebra; however, she tells Tami Tylor in the counseling office that she's planning on taking her GED and going to California. Coach tells Smash, Riggins and Saracen to stop anything they see off the field.

At the rehab center Jason tells Lyla how Horny he is and tells Lyla they have a visitor, his erect penis! He also asks the nurse if they can get 40 minutes together; however Nurse Francine tells Jason it's not medically safe to ejaculate because semen could backflow into his bladder and cause a urinary track infection.

Lyla visits Tim after seeing Jason and tells him they have to stop their secret romance. Coach Taylor goes with Mr. Garrity to get Reyes out of jail. A scared Reyes scared lies to Coach Taylor about his incident with Kurt Caster. He claims he called him a wetback and tried to punch him. Reyes also goes on the news and claims the same thing. Landry wants Matt to call press a press conference to say Reyes was lying. . Landry even gets in Reyes face about assaulting his friend and tells Matt he's crossed over and become one of them.

Saracen visits Coach Taylor at his house and tells him Caster didn't say anything racist; not because he was a witness but because he's known Kurt a long time and Caster was just at the wrong place at the wrong time. Coach Taylor then goes to Kurt's house and promises no football player will bother him again. Coach Taylor confronts Reyes, kicks him off the team and recommends him to visit the guidance office and work on anger problems.

Mr. Garrity is good friends with someone on the board (played football with him) which is investigating Voodoo's eligibility. A brief conference with Garrity, Coach Taylor and Friend occurs. Moments later a voice over the load speaker at school announces Voodoo was eligible to play and the Panthers game remains as a win. A day or two later Buddy Garrity also goes over to Coach Taylor's house late at night with news that Voodoo went back to Louisiana; however, before he left Voodoo interviewed with the local news and told them he only lived in town two weeks along with other information basically putting the team back into a bad situation.

Jason calls Tim and asked why he calls him his best friend when he hasn't visited Jason in 6 weeks. Jason asked Tim what happened to "living large in Texas, and Texas forever." Jason tells Tim he expects him there with him. Tim visits Jason again but this time takes Jason with on a ride; however Lyla shows up and joins the two boys on their "field trip". Lyla, Timmy, and Jason end up going to the lake and getting some fresh air on a boat later sitting by a fired and drinking. After Jason gets dropped off he sees Tim and Lyla hugging for a long period in the parking lot from a rehab center window.
