What is interesting is NBC has the fewest of the major network stations (many of the shows they cancelled had even better ratings than FNL did).
And considering they had the fewest and they are also the least successful network shows you that they aren't willing to part ways with their programs because the chances that they would get a more successful one are slim.

anyway, season one is very special. it's only $20 at target. i think it's the slowest moving item on the shelf too so, i wouldn't worry about it going out of stock...well, if you live in texas, that might be a different story. OH...another truly special thing about the series is that it shoots in a real community and a lot of the extras are people that live in the town. another thing i could say is...if you are among the few who is a fan of arrested development, i would say the loyalty of the fan base is equivalent to that. season two of friday night lights definitely had issues and a lot of original fans were disappointed, including myself. but...i still have faith in the writers though. they owe it to the wonderful actors to redeem the show that so many, yet so few fans have grown to love.http://www.fridaynightlightsonline.com/community/article129.htmLooks like it did get renewedlastcat32008-04-08T07:38:30Z2008-04-05T03:43:22ZInteresting gamble NBC is making on FNL - considering most of the other nets (namely ABC) have jettisoned some pretty good shows this offseason.
I do not have Direct TV, so I suppose I will have to wait until 2009. I probably will watch again, although I agree the show descended into "Dillon 90210" territory last season.
