I was wondering what everyone else's opinion on the matter was...
It is very clear in this episode that Julie is a virgin? Is Matt? It's iffy to me. Sometimes it seems like he is and other times not so much.... __________________ ---Clear Eyes. Full Hearts. Can't Lose.---

| I think that Matt is probably a virgin, butt when they ggot to the lake house were they were gonna have sex Matt seemed really comfortable...like he had done it before. | ||

Julie doesn't really know whats going to happen and like her mom said she thinks that having sex is no more than a kind of experience even if she doesnt seem to be ready for that! I'm sure y'all already figured it out but they're both virgins. That eppy is one of my favorites because sex is a serious issue. The writer, I think Elizabeth Heldens is her name, dealt with it realistically, tastefully, humorously, and presented values without being preachy. One of the funniest moments is when Julie tried to hug Matt after they decided not to do it. He says, "Don't touch me, please. Just give me a minute."
I am pretty sure that in the second season, Carlotta is Matt's first. I think that is why he was so brokenhearted when she left. |
